Margaret River Wedding AV Hire FAQ

Our complete AV setup includes ceremony PA, reception sound system, dance floor lighting, and on-site setup on the day. We provide a professional audio operator who manages sound levels throughout the day and operates the equipment. All gear is tested and insured, and we bring backup equipment to every wedding. You supply the content, music, and playback device. Setup and packdown are fully managed by our experienced team.
Travel is charged at $90 per hour from our Kwinana base, both directions, always on top of the hire. We always provide a fixed written 48-hour quote with the exact travel time included. No surprises or additional fees beyond the quote.
Both. Operated hire means our experienced operator runs the event and manages all AV during your wedding, ceremony sound, reception levels, dance floor lighting and timing. Dry hire is equipment only and is available for clients who prefer to manage their own sound and lighting. We can advise on which suits your venue and team.
Full payment is required before the event. There is no deposit, no bond, and no security deposit. There is also no payment required just to enquire or to receive a 48-hour written quote. Once you book, we confirm availability and send your detailed quote, then payment clears before we arrive.
Book with as much notice as possible, especially in peak season. Margaret River and the South West region fills quickly for weddings during summer and spring weekends. We are often booked months ahead for popular dates. Contact us early to check availability and we will provide a quote within 48 hours.
Yes. We plan specifically for venues with limited power and can operate on battery power or silent generators. Many South West WA wedding venues do not have accessible power points near the ceremony or reception areas. Our battery PA systems and silent generators handle this, so you do not need to worry about running cables across guest areas or power limitations affecting your event.
Yes. We carry $10 million public liability insurance and all equipment is AS/NZS 3760 tested and tagged. Documentation is available on request. We work to WHS safety standards and bring the right equipment for the job at every venue, whether that is an outdoor winery, marquee, or indoor function space.
