Gala Dinner AV Hire Perth FAQ

Our gala dinner AV package includes professional production sound for speeches and auctions, feature stage lighting and uplighting, a large-screen vision system, and two experienced operators (one managing sound, one managing vision). We set everything up, run all AV through your event, and pack down afterwards. All gear is tagged and tested to Australian standards.
We offer both options. Our operated service means our two specialists manage all sound, lighting and vision while you run the event. Dry hire is available if you have experienced operators in your team, though we generally recommend full operation to avoid audio and lighting mishaps during critical moments like auctions or key speeches.
Travel is charged at $90 per hour from our Kwinana base. This applies to all gala events, charity functions, and industry dinners across the Perth metro area and South West WA. Distance and travel time are assessed when we quote, and you'll see the exact figure in your written quote.
Book with as much notice as possible, especially during peak season. Galas often require careful coordination with venue, catering, and other suppliers, so early booking helps us reserve your date and plan the AV setup properly. We provide forty-eight-hour written quotes once you've shared your event details.
Full payment is required before the event. There is no bond and no security deposit. You pay the final amount only, not a percentage deposit. There is no payment to enquire or to receive a written quote. Simply call or email to describe your gala, and we'll send a firm quote within forty-eight hours.
We assess power and venue setup during our site visit before confirming. Most gala venues have what we need. If power is limited, we bring our own solutions. Lighting rigs vary by venue, but our experienced operators are used to working in ballrooms, clubs, and outdoor garden settings across Perth. We'll confirm any special requirements before your quote.
Yes. Our production sound system covers speeches, auctions, DJ-hosted entertainment, and live bands. We work with your musician or DJ, position microphones, manage monitor mixes if needed, and ensure every speaker and performer is heard clearly. Charity galas and industry functions often mix all three, and that's our specialty.
