Theatre AV Hire Perth FAQ

Our theatre packages include a programmed stage lighting rig with cues, a professional operator running all technical elements throughout the season, cast radio microphones managed live, stage monitors, and sound effects playback. All equipment is tested and tagged. For dry hire, you provide your own operator and we supply the gear.
We offer both. Operated theatre packages include an experienced operator who runs the show through the entire season, managing cues, mics, monitors, and effects, recommended for school musicals and community theatre. Dry hire is available for venues with experienced technical staff. Most groups choose operated hire for confidence in the final product.
Book with as much notice as possible, especially during peak season when school musicals and community theatre seasons overlap. Early booking gives us time to program your specific cue sequences and ensures availability. Contact us to check dates and discuss your show's technical requirements.
Travel is charged at $90 per hour from our Kwinana base. For most Perth metro venues, this is calculated into your quote. We service Perth metro and South West WA. Get a 48-hour written quote to see your exact total for your venue location.
Your venue needs power access near the stage and a clear path for equipment setup. Rigging points such as battens, grid, or truss for the lighting rig depend on your venue design. We assess your space during the quote process and work with you on any technical adjustments needed to make the show work.
Full payment is required before the event. There is no bond, no security deposit, and no charge to request a quote or discuss your show. We provide 48-hour written quotes, and payment can be arranged by bank transfer or card once you confirm the booking.
