Projector & Screen Hire Perth FAQ

We supply everything you need to show a film or presentation. This includes a high-lumen projector sized for your room and ambient light, a fast-fold screen scaled to your space, and all signal distribution cabling and switching gear. You bring the content on a laptop, streaming device, or USB drive. We handle the setup, testing, and connection so you don't have to worry about technical details.
Travel is charged at $90 per hour from our Kwinana base in Perth. For most metro Perth locations, travel time is under an hour, so you're looking at a $90 travel charge on top of your equipment hire. We quote the total cost upfront in writing, so there are no surprises.
Full payment is required before the event. There is no bond, no deposit, and no payment needed just to get a quote. We send a written 48-hour quote, and once you confirm, we arrange the final payment date with you. No hidden fees.
Book with as much notice as possible, especially in peak season. We aim to confirm availability within 24 hours of your enquiry. Last-minute bookings may work if we're not already scheduled that day, but early booking gives you the best choice of dates and times.
Operated hire means we set up, test, run the projector and audio through your event, and pack down at the end. Dry hire means you take the equipment and manage it yourself. Most clients choose operated service because we handle the tech, troubleshooting, and make sure the image and sound are perfect. Dry hire is cheaper but requires you to be confident with AV setup.
Yes. We manage laptop switching, HDMI distribution, and signal routing so you can swap between presenters, video clips, or content sources seamlessly. If you have multiple rooms or a complex setup, tell us what you need and we'll design the cabling and switching to make it work cleanly on the day.
For screen size and brightness: tell us the room dimensions and how much ambient light there is (windows, side lighting, etc.), and we'll recommend a projector and screen that work in those conditions. For power, you need a standard 240V 10-amp power point within 50 metres of the screen. If that's not available, we can run a silent battery inverter instead. We assess each venue individually to make sure the setup is right for the space.
