PA System Hire Perth FAQ

Every PA system hire includes powered speakers, a mixer and XLR cabling. For most venues, that covers it. Wireless or additional wired microphones, stage monitors for performers, or a subwoofer for bass-heavy events are add-ons you can request in your quote. We assess your venue and event type, then advise what's essential versus optional.
Travel is charged at $90 per hour from our Kwinana base and is always on top of the hire. This covers getting to you, setup and packdown. We'll give you the exact travel cost in your written 48-hour quote so there are no surprises.

Operated hire means one of our experienced operators runs the PA through your entire event, mixing levels, managing mics, and troubleshooting on the spot. Dry hire is equipment only and you supply someone to operate it. Most customers choose operated because it removes the technical burden and guarantees everything sounds right.
Book with as much notice as possible, especially during busy seasons (December to February, school holidays, and weekends). Peak slots fill quickly. Last-minute bookings may still work if we have gear available, but early booking ensures the right equipment for your venue and date.
All our equipment is tagged-and-tested to Australian standards and regularly maintained. If an issue occurs, our operator (if you have booked operated hire) handles it on the spot because we carry spares and backups. For dry hire, you will need your own technical support. Either way, we stand behind every piece of gear.
No payment is required to enquire or receive a quote. Once you approve the quote, full payment is required before the event. There is no bond or security deposit. It is simply full payment upfront. We accept bank transfer and card. This straightforward approach means no surprises.
