Throw ratio = throw distance ÷ image width. As a guide: standard lens ≈ 1.8–2.4, short‑throw ≈ 0.5–0.8, long‑throw ≈ 3+. Check your projector spec for its exact range. Figures are for planning, allow clearance for seating and sight lines.
